I have the full size of the Serum, and the eye creams. All of which I love!

Gold Caviar Toner

Clear Toner, though in the little plastic sample it might look orange, but that's just the bottle. It has real flecks of gold dispersed within it. The toner is thicker than western toners, but not a gel (*sigh* Gel toners are my favorite).

Scent- Perfumed, exactly what the scent is I can't tell, it smells like generic perfume. However, the scent isn't strong, and once it applied it dissipates quickly. It doesn't bother me in the least, plus without perfume, would it smell like fish(caviar) EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Texture- Not a gel, but thicker than western toners. It has little flecks of gold in it! yay! They do not show up on the skin once the toner has been applied.

Effectiveness- A nice light toner. The smell is faint, and the texture is nice. I've used this Toner sooo many times. I've gotten countless samples of it! I really do enjoy it.

Buy?- Maybe. It's on the expensive side for Skinfood, and it's not a gel toner. I just prefer a gel (no cotton pad need for application!). But on the other hand, its really gentle, makes my skin feel a bit softer, and the only lightly scented. If anyone is thinking of picking it up, you really can't go wrong.

Gold Caviar Emulsion, Gold Caviar Collagen Cream, Gold Caviar Lifting Prime Skin

- I lumped the three together in one review because they are all so similar, they are just variations of moisturizers from the same line from Skinfood. Therefore, the scent is all the same, and the same as the Toner and Serum. Its a light perfumed scent. Not strong or offensive, or even distinct. 

I have the cavair emulsion (moisturizer), the Gold Caviar collagen cream, the Gold caviar lifting prime skin, plus I think there is a gold caviar cream.... What the difference between all of them is....

Not much.

The Gold Caviar emulsion is the runniest and the lightest. But still a med-heavy moisturizer.

the Gold Caviar lifting prime skin is thicker.

The Gold caviar collagen cream seems the same as the lifting prime skin.

The emulsion and collagen cream are the most similar, they both absorb quickly, without leaving a white cast.

The Lifting prime seems to be a different composition.

If you look at the picture, it leaves a white cast.

Beyond that the differences are small. I like Lifting prime the least. It leaves a residue, and the white cast. Which is really peculiar. I can't figure out why it's so different.

It's a toss up between the emulsion and the Collagen cream. The cream if you want more heavy duty moisture, and emulsion for something lighter.

Beauty Friends masks are super cheap. In fact I got them as freebies from Beautiplex. A store here in Korea that sells Korean, Japanese and Western brands.
I hate beautiplex, it looks like a discount store with Department store prices. Blech.

Anyways, my experience with freebie masks is medicore. They generally aren't terrible, but they are at best barely moisturizing.

With the Beauty friends mask, I was first pleasntly surprised with teh mask size, it wasn't too big, ro two small, and though it doesn't fit my face perfectly (really odd eye holes), it fits really well.
Also, when on the mask feels thicker than many others. Which is nice, and kind of warming. Like wearing a blanket....(odd I know)
But since this helps the absorption of the essence, I really like the thicker mask!

The essence itself was nice, moisturizing, but pretty generic. On the plus side, no irritation. On the negative, no significant moisturizing.

All in all it was a great value, considering it was free :)

Writing about hand creams might be as boring as Shit. The only thing worse would be reading about them.
But oh, do continue reading....

Ah my beloved Etude house, has an assortment of moisturizing products. So far, some I have hated. The stupid lemon sugar moistrizer which, frankly, blew.

So why I was tempted to buy the Rich Collagen Hand cream I don't know.
Probably because it was in a pretty display at the front of the store. *damn product placement*

This hand cream is AMAZING. I am madly in love with it, and carry it absolutely everywhere with me.
it comes out of the tube thick, and with a soft buttery yellow color.
It absorbs beautifully, and the smell is light.

Best of all, its a thick heavy cream, that leaves my hand feeling smooth and well moisturized for ages and ages.

Sweet mask making the tired skin relaxed. Natural seaweed ingredients containing vitality of the blue sea make the tired and rough skin soothed and relaxed, and create smooth moisturized skin.

The variations between the VOV daily fresh masks are small. Some are better, so are a bit irritating, and some smell.
The seaweed collagen wasn’t overly remarkable.
It didn’t smell strongly, either good or bad, possibly, vaguely like aloe. It didn’t burn or irritate the skin, and it didn’t moisturize any more than any other sheet mask.
With that said, this is one I will buy again.
Why? It’s neutral, and non-irritating. I checked the ingredients, and it actually contains aloe.
And after one use, my skin was a little bit brighter.

Tomato’s fresh vitamin provides a whitening effect, and Lycopene’s anti-oxidation effect helps to provide an elastic skin like tomato’s.

 The Tomato white collagen mask,  promises a lot. Whitening, tightening and freshening.
I’m not sure about any of the claims. 

Unlike some of the Daily fresh masks, there was no tingling while wearing it.  The solution absorbed well, but left my face slightly greasier than the others. Almost as though it contains some oil. So the product did not absorb and then disappear.

The day after, there is some mild irritation around my nose. Suggestion a possible reaction. Nothing major, but my skin isn’t lovely and nice like it was the day after the Pomegranate collagen mask.

I will not repurchase this one!

Pomegrnates estrogen helps to maintain young and vivid skin, and it helps collagen synthesis to provide a tension to your skin and smooth your tired skin.

Since I’ve already gone over the basics of the VOV Daily fresh sheet masks in a previous review, I’m going to jump right into the specifics.

The promises of the pomegrnate mask are a bit odd. I mean Yammy?  *alughs* I’m sure it’s supposed to be yummy but still.

And the estrogen part… a bit weird.

Anyway, my review is unbiased by expectations, because other that the pack’s name, I didn’t read any of the promises on the back.

So I put on the mask, and all went as normal. 15 minutes into the 20 minute session my skin started to tingly slightly. A good sign I think, as though something actually was happening.

When I took it off, there was some excess product left on my face, but the mask was much drier than initially, and it did appear that my skin had absorbed quite a bit.

Once the excess was patted in. My skin was… moist, but nothing exceptionally.

Apperance wise, the same thing. Nothing was tighter or smother or more beautiful in any way.

The next day I didn’t wake up with better moisturized skin.

But, my skin was actually firmer, and my complexion a lightle bit clearer… Not as in blemishs disappeared, but my skin looked…. More even almost.

Today was a really good skin day.

And since I’ve been doing a lot of flying over the holidays, that’s a really really good thing. Travelling usually leaves me tired and sallow for weeks after.

Conclusion,  I really like this one.
